General: accessing the site with my user name

    I have downlaoded the program, got a user name etc. added a folder but when I visit the site I am told that I need to upgrade my flash player. I have Adobe Flash Player 10 which I think is the latest??
    when others visit the site they are told that --- "My user name" is not on line--------
    Any help from experienced users???
